Pentecost Vestments

Pentecost is kept in red, the colour of fire. It is one of the few days a parish reaches for red rather than white or green, and a good red set is worn again at Confirmation, on Palm Sunday and Good Friday, and on the feasts of the apostles and martyrs, so it earns its keep.
