Dalmatics

The dalmatic is the proper eucharistic vestment of the deacon: a T-shaped tunic with wide open sleeves and vertical clavi bands down the front and back, worn over the alb and the deacon's stole. A bishop may also wear one beneath the chasuble at a solemn celebration, and in Lutheran, Methodist and other Protestant traditions the same garment is worn more broadly as a liturgical robe.

Ours are cut in satin with applied orphrey banding, in nine sizes from S to 6XL, and every one is supplied with its matching deacon's stole. A second dalmatic for a pair, or a dalmatic made to match an existing chasuble, is quoted on request.
