About this piece

More clergy accessories

A seven-branch Temple menorah in gold-tone metal, enamelled in deep blue and cream, with the emblems of the twelve tribes of Israel worked down the branches and JERUSALEM lettered along the base.

01

The design

Seven arms curve out of a single stem in the Temple pattern, each rising to a fluted cup. A cream enamel panel near the top of each branch carries a tribal emblem, and the blue arms between are set with raised gold lozenges and rosettes. The stem itself carries a flowering tree, a lion and a sheaf of wheat, and the stepped square base is lettered JERUSALEM on two sides.

02

Material and finish

Gold-tone metal with blue and cream enamel. The enamel is set into the cast relief rather than painted over it, so the gold outlines stay crisp against the colour.

03

Scale

The photograph shows the menorah held in the hand so you can judge its size. Exact measurements are being confirmed and will be listed here; write to us in the meantime if you need them before ordering.

04

Where it sits

A piece for a study, a church office, a parish hall or a Christian bookshop rather than for the altar. Seven-branch menorahs of this type are made in the Holy Land trade and are bought widely by Christian, Messianic and Jewish visitors, which is why the twelve tribal emblems and the Jerusalem lettering appear together on one stand.

05

What you receive

One menorah. Candles are not included. Allow 4-5 days for us to prepare and pack the order, with a further 10-15 days in transit counted separately.

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep water and polish away from the enamel panels, which will dull and lift if they are scrubbed.

Lift cooled wax out of the cups rather than scraping it warm, and lift the menorah by the stem rather than by the branches.
