Overview
What this piece is
A navy blue satin dalmatic banded in silver, with a silver cross at the breast and its matching deacon's stole. Offered in nine sizes, S to 6XL.
Symbolism
The two vertical bands are the clavi, the stripes that marked the dalmatic when it was Roman dress. Blue is kept for Advent by the Sarum custom in many Anglican parishes, and for Our Lady in some places, though it is not a colour of the Roman rite.

A navy blue satin dalmatic banded in silver, with a silver cross at the breast and a second worked into the end of the matching deacon's stole. Cut by The Clergy Couture in nine sizes from S to 6XL.
The design
Two silver bands run the length of the front and back, the clavi that have marked the dalmatic since it was Roman dress, each edged with a narrow silver line. A small silver cross sits at the breast, and another at the falling end of the stole. The stole crosses from the left shoulder to the right hip, which is the deacon's placement rather than the priest's.
Cloth and finish
Deep navy satin with silver banding applied rather than printed, so it stands slightly proud of the ground cloth and holds its line from the back of the nave. Silver against navy reads cooler and quieter than gold against colour, which is why it suits the penitential end of the year and the plainer end of the Protestant tradition. Wide open sleeves, finished flat, with side slits from the hem.
Size
Nine sizes, S to 6XL, measured flat across the finished garment: 28 in across the chest and 50 in long at S, 42 in and 60 in at 6XL. Because the figures are flat, double the chest width for the full circumference. A dalmatic hangs over an alb rather than fitting the body, so allow for what you wear underneath and take the larger size if you fall between two.
When it is worn
Blue is not one of the colours of the Roman rite. It has a life of its own: Sarum blue is kept through Advent in many Anglican and Episcopal parishes, and deep blue is worn in some places on feasts of Our Lady. In Lutheran, Methodist and other Protestant traditions navy is worn more broadly as a pulpit and sanctuary colour. Where your own use differs, follow your ordinary.
What you receive
The dalmatic and its matching deacon's stole. The alb worn underneath is not included.
