The stole crosses the body from the left shoulder to the right hip in the same green satin, edged in the same gold, which is the deacon's placement rather than the priest's.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCloth and finish\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eGreen satin with a soft sheen that reads well under chancel lighting without flaring under it. The banding is applied rather than printed, so it stands slightly proud of the ground cloth and keeps its line from the back of the nave.
